SLTCC Workshops

• PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT SERIES - This pre-semester workshop provides a forum for LLL faculty and graduate students to learn about and share innovative ideas for improving classroom language teaching and learning.
• DEMOS & DISCUSSIONS SERIES - Each semester, the SLTCC arranges a number of special presentations, open to the public, on topics of interest to language educators and researchers. The current offerings are listed in the current LLC Newsletter.
• TEACHING & TECHNOLOGY WORKSHOPS - Each semester, the SLTCC offers a number of practical hands-on workshops to help language educators upgrade their technology skills and encourage their incorporation in the language classroom. The current offerings are listed in the current LLC Newsletter
• TEACHER PORTFOLIO & PREPARATION SERIES (TiPPS) - This seven-part workshop series focuses on helping future language educators (specifically graduate students in language departments at UH Manoa) develop a teacher portfolio and prepare for the job market they will face upon graduation.
