Aloha, College of LLL Graduate Students,
We are getting close to the 23rd Annual LLL Graduate Student Conference, “Story Telling: The Art of Translation,” and we need volunteers to help make this conference great!
We are looking for graduate students to help on the day of the conference, Saturday, April 20, 2019, from 8:00 AM – 3:30 PM. All volunteers will work in shifts, so we can accommodate your schedules, and you can enjoy the conference presentations, as well. We need volunteers for the roles listed below. SIGN UP TO VOLUNTEER
- Moderators: Volunteers will sit in on presentations and keep time for each presenter. Time cards will be provided. Moderators will be responsible for ensuring that all presentations follow the conference schedule and the allotted time for presentation and Q&A. (10 needed)
- Registration: Volunteers will handle conference check-in and on-site registration throughout the day. (8 needed)
- Tech Personnel: Volunteers will help with tech questions and ensure that the technical aspects of the presentations run smoothly. There will be tech set up on Friday, April 19 from 12 PM to 2 PM. Please let us know if you prefer to do tech for set-up on Friday or for the conference on Saturday. (8 needed; 3 Friday/4 Saturday)
Lunch will be included for Saturday volunteers (you have to register for the conference and sign up for the lunch). All volunteers will be acknowledged with a certificate from Dean Laura E. Lyons.
