Professor Ili Nagy
University of Puget Sound


 


 

Dr. Ili Nagy, of the University of Puget Sound, specializes in early Christian and Byzantine art, the art and archaeology of Greece and Rome, and Etruscan Archaeology. She has authored numerous articles in these fields, especially on Etruscan votives and mirrors. Dr. Nagy received her PhD, MA, and BA from UCLA, and held positions at Western Illinois University, the American Academy in Rome, and the Intercollegiate Center for Classical Studies in Rome before returning to the west coast to teach at the University of Puget Sound in Washington. She is the former President of the AIA’s Seattle Society and is currently an academic Trustee on the AIA Governing Board.
