The Hawai'i Society of the Archaeological Institute of America supports 5-7 lectures a year on archaeological topics, ranging from Classical to Far Eastern archaeology, by the foremost archaeologists in the world. Our lectures are always free and are conducted either at the Honolulu Academy of Arts or the University of Hawai'i. Both institutions are co-sponsors of our events. We endeavor to bring archaeology to the general public and stimulate interest in the field. We also encourage and assist individuals to participate in archaeological excavations and archaeological tours.
